Marine Police Academy to come up in AP

Viziayanagaram, Dec 23, 2014: Andhra Pradesh DGP Ramudu told news persons here on Tuesday that the Centre has in principle agreed for setting up a Marine Police Academy in the state. The police department has completed identifying land for setting up APPA-like training institutes at Guntur, Visakha and Tirupati. Visakha city has all the favorable conditions to set up Gray Hounds Centre."We will soon take a decision on the issue," he said. Ramudu is on a tour of Visakha and Vizianagaram districts.
