Group 1 notification likely tomorrow

Hyderabad, April 24: Good news to those waiting for TSPSC notification for Group-1 posts. The TSPC is likely to issue notification on Monday. The commission met on Saturday and scrutinized the proposals about the filling of 503 vacancies in 19 government departments and made all arrangements for issuing the notification.

This will be the first Group-1 notification after the formation of Telangana State. 

The government has to announce its decision on three issues. They are, posts of certain departments, which are not in Group-1 category earlier, are now included. State cadre posts are transferred to multi-zonal level as per the President’s new orders.

Certain changes are made in Group-1 examination pattern as the government abolished interviews. Candidates would be selected based on the marks they secure in the written test.

TSPSC expecting government orders in this regard either on Sunday or Monday and would release notification. The commission is considering to complete preliminary and main exams within nine months and to give postings.
