Kavitha demands 'One Nation One Procurement Policy'

Hyderabad: There is a discussion on the procurement of Rabi crop in Telangana. It is known that the KCR government is insisting that the Central government should buy all the crops grown in Telangana in the Rab season. Hence, the TRS government has launched a tirade against the Centre. 

In this connection, TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha took to her Twitter handle and questioned the Centre's paddy procurement policy. She said, "there should not be one justice for Punjab and Haryana and another justice for other states with regard to paddy procurement." 

She demanded that the Centre buy all the grains in Telangana just as it had bought 100 per cent in Punjab. "We demand a single procurement policy," she said.
