UP teacher beats 7-year-old to death for not paying his fees

Bareilly, Dec 17: A teacher in a school in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh is reported to have banged a seven-year-old boy's head aganist the classroom wall killing him on the spot on Tuesday, according to official reports here on Wednesday. The boy, Araj, a nursery student, was beaten to death allegedly for not paying the school fee and doing his homework. According to a senior police officer, at around 11 am the teacher banged Araj's head against the wall. Immediately, the boy started bleeding from his nose. The school's authorities are said to have taken the boy to a nearby hospital and then informed his parents, who were asked to take their son as he was unwell. Soon after his parents arrived, an unconscious Araj had died. As per the post mortem report Araj died of fatal head injuries.
