FAST scheme: HC finds fault with TS govt

Hyderabad, Dec 15: A division bench of the High court in Hyderabad Monday had adjourned two cases that were filed challenging the Financial Assistance to Students of Telangana (FAST) scheme of Telangana government to January, 2015. The HC bench consisting of Chief Justice Kalyan Jyothi Sengupta and Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar reminded the government of Telangana that an attitude like that will lead to divisive tendencies. The bench suggested that the Telangana government should very be careful while implementing schemes like FAST as students hailing from different parts of India are studying in each and every State.
