CM's of AP, TS performing well, Governor tells Modi

Hyderabad, Dec 12: Governor of the two Telugu-speaking states ESL Narasimhan on Friday said he informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi that chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were doing a good job. Speaking to media persons after submitting his report to Modi on issues and conflicts afflicting the two states, the Governor said he told the prime minister that there was no cause for concern on the issues of security in AP and Telangana. Narasimhan had met the prime minister inside the parliament building in New Delhi and briefed him on the two states. “Both the states are doing very well. Law and order has been maintained very well by both the states. Both the chief ministers are doing very well. I think problems do not exist,” the Governor told media persons. Stating that it was a routine meeting, the Governor said, "It was a routine meeting. Various issues were discussed with the Prime Minister.” Questioned on Telangana and Andhra Pradesh conducting separate intermediate public exams, Narasimhan said interests of students will not be affected. Stating that the interests of children will be protected, the Governor said, "Nobody will suffer because of examinations.” The Governor had been camping in New Delhi for the past three days and he could finally meet the prime minister.
