PM clears provisional allocation list of AIS officers to TS, AP
Hyderabad, Dec 11: The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has finally approved the provisional allocation of All India Service (AIS) officers submitted by the Pratyush Sinha Committee to the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, according to official sources. The sources said the provisional list, which was approved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is expected to be uploaded in a couple of days. The sources also said that the PMO will be allowing the swapping of officers within the same category and grade and the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) is expected to consider any suggestions and objections within 15 days and then finalise the list. With this, the sources said, at least 90 per cent of the AIS officers will be allocated smoothly to both the states.
