Mild tremors in Srikakulam district

Hyderabad, Dec 11: Residents of at least five mandals in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh experienced mild tremors arond 2pm on Thursday, reports reaching here said. Residents of Kotabommali, Sontabommali, Polaki, Narsapuram and Saravakota mandals of the district claimed that they ran out of their houses out of fear when they felt the ground below their feet started shaking and household goods falling down. Reports said the tremors lasted for just three seconds. The district administration is yet to announce the intensity of the mild earthquake.
