Facebook offers Rs 2cr package to IIT-B student
Jaipur, Dec 9: Social networking site Facebook is reported to have made a Rs 2 crore job offer to an IIT-Bombay student named Aastha Agrawal (20). Aastha, a fourth-year student of Computer Science at IIT-B, is reported to have completed her third-year internship in Facebook's headquarters in California in May-June this year, following which the company had given her a pre-placement offer. "I am very happy and excited with the offer and will join in the Headquarters after completing my 8th semester," said Aastha, who is at present at home in Jaipur. The student claimed the company was satisfied with her work during the internship and therefore made the job offer. Her father, Ashok Agrawal, is executive engineer at Rajasthan Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPNL) here, whereas her elder sister is a chemical engineer.
