Satyam scam: Quantum of punishment pronounced for Ramalingaraju, his brother
Hyderabad, Dec 8: The special court trying the case of multi-crore rupee accounting fraud in the former Satyam Computer Services Limited (SCSL) on Monday pronounced the quantum of punishment to B Ramalinga Raju, the prime accused, his brother Ramaraju and Minampati Ram. The special court pronounced punishments under six economic offences cases. In five cases, both Ramalingaraju and his borhter Ramaraju have been fined Rs 10 lakhs each per case. The two were also awarded jail terms of 6 months for each of the four cases. With regards to M Ram, the court ordered him to pay a fine of Rs 10 lakh each in three cases.
