Finally, TS junior doctors call off their strike

Hyderabad, Nov 29: Telanagana's junior doctors on Saturday finally called off their 64-days-old strike in deference to the High Court's order. Giving a huge relief to patients, the junior doctors told media persons that they will be attending to duties from Saturday out of respect for the law. The junior doctors had gone on a strike protesting against GO-107 that made it mandatory for medical students to work in rural areas in order to complete their course. Stating that their problems were going unnoticed, the doctors said it is tough to work in rural areas without required medicines and necessary equipment.
