Governor gets call from Union Home ministry
Hyderabad, Nov 29: Union Home Ministry on Saturday has called the Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states E S L Narasimhan to New Delhi for discussions on several issues including the division of All India Services officials.
Narasimhan is expected to leave for New Delhi on Sunday morning and meet the President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and appraise them of contentious issues between the states of Telangana and AP.
Some of the other issues that may come up for discussions could include tussle over Krishna river water sharing and power generation.
