Metro rail alignment: TS to bear additional costs of changes

Hyderabad, Nov 22: L&T Metro Rail Company Ltd has on Saturday agreed to change the metro rail alignment as insisted upon by Telangana government. Announcing this to media persons here on Saturday, Hyderabad Metro Rail MD NVS Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was very keen to develop Hyderabad as a world class city and has directed the Metro Rail officials to quicken the work of metro rail works. The chief minister is also believed to have asked L&T Metro Rail Company Ltd to sort out all complicated issues in an efficient manner. Reddy said the Telangana government has agreed to bear the additional expenditure to be incurred due to the alignment changes.
