Cong govt sold lands to DLF: KCR

Hyderabad, Nov 20: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday said in the TS assembly that the Congress government of the undivided Andhra Pradesh had sold 470.33 acres of land to Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation to raise funds for mobilization purposes. KCR was replying to a question on the DLF lands issue in the assembly. He said from March to November in 2007 , 105.54 acres of land was sold to seven companies, including DLF, through which Rs. 2018.82 crore was procured by APIIC and the same was handed over to the then government. He further stated that the companies that registered the land have asked for GHMC permission for undertaking construction. However, as some land are hereditary, permission was not given, he clarified.
