These actors deliberately missed the fortune!
The stupendous success of Bahubali (The Conclusion) elated those who took part in the film on and off the screen. The film is all set to collect Rs 1,000 crore in few more days. However, some of the artistes who could not take part in the film are cursing themselves for missing the name and fame. The key role of Sivagami in the magnum opus was first offered to Sridevi. However, Sridevi rejected the offer saying that she will not suit as mother of Prabhas. Moreover, she demanded high remuneration for the role which made the film-makers to opt for Ramyakrishna and everyone opined that no other artiste would suit the character like Ramyakrishna.
When it comes to the role of Kattappa, Rajamouli thought of taking Mohanlal for the role. However, he could not adjust the call sheets for a long period like four years. Then the director appealed to Satyaraj and got him into the project. It is a surprise that Vivek Oberoi was asked to play the role of Bhallaladeva and upon his rejection the character went in favour of Rana. The character earned him name and fame not only across the country but at the international-level.
Likewise, Sonam Kapoor was chosen for the role of Avantika, but she expressed her inability to adjust call sheet for two long years and Tamannah was finalised for the character. Her glamour remained highlight for most part of the first half. Finally, Devasena character was first offered to Nayanatara and she too rejected the role and Anushka was roped in for the role. All these artistes who missed the opportunity to be a part of Bahubali are now feeling bad for losing the golden opportunity and are cursing themselves for not becoming part of a regional film which earned the name as an Indian movie and not just a Telugu movie
