Modi dedicates Indian diaspora's love to the nation after rockstar reception in Sydney
Sydney, Nov 17: In what seemed to be a repeat of the Madison Square Garden address in New York, the Allphones Arena in Sydney is brimming with excitement as Prime Minister Narendra Modi begins to address the Indian diaspora on Monday. Starting his speech Narendra Modi said that it was his good fortune that he happens to be the first prime minister of India to be born post 1947. When at least 16,000 people of Indian origin cheered him, the prime minister said he will dedicate this welcome, this respect, this enthusiasm to the people of India. The Indian diaspora gathered at Allphones Arena, where big screens have been installed outside the venue. Some of the people of Indian origin have travelled from as far as the United States, Singapore and New Zealand. The prime minister then said the present generation may not get the opportunity to die for the nation or spend their youth in jail, however, they can surely live for the nation.
