TRS slams Congress for trying to disturb the Assembly

Hyderabad, April.30: TRS MLAs V Srinivas Goud, Jeevan Reddy and others today accused the Congress leaders of pretending to have some affection towards the  farmers.

Talking at the  Assembly Media Point after the house passed  the Bill for amendments for the  Land Acquisition Act, the legislators criticized that the Congress is conspiring against the farmers’ welfare. They took serious objection to the Congress leaders  causing mindless obstruction to the debate on the land acquisition act. The Congress leaders holding placards, shouting slogans and throwing off the marshals is just a meaningless action, they fumed. It is just a pre- plan to disrupt the house for political mileage and try to blame the government, they said. It is a known fact that the congress which failed to complete projects is now coming in the way by moving courts, they said. The Congress made deliberate attempts to disturb the house instead of giving its version on the amendments for the Land Ac, t they said. They tried to stall the debate on the issue only to prevent exposure of  their misdeeds during the previous regime,  they said.

The Congress regime had  failed to ensure  MSP to farm produce and now is shedding crocodile tears. Amendments for the land act are needed as the government is determined to complete the new projects by acquiring land as per norms. There is nothing wrong to make amendments for the land act to complete  the projects  and to bring under irrigation one crore acres. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has kept the promise of  crop loan waiver  of Rs 17000 crore and announced  Rs 8000 monetary assistance for the farmers to overcome   their problems. The opposition is resorting to  temporary movements by provoking the farmers,  they alleged.
