Rajamouli smashes all records across the country

The days when the Kapoors and Khans used to rule the Bollywood have gone. The Tollywood, the second highest film industry in India after Bollywood proved that we are second to none. Maverick director SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Bahubali’-2 (The Conclusion) started ringing the cash boxes of Bollywood Box Office ringing on the first day. The dubbed version of ‘Bahubali’-2 had started thrashing all the earlier records set by the Bollywood badshahs. Till date Salman Khan’s Sultan, which had collected Rs 36.54 crore on the first day was the highest collection.

However, the Hindi version of Bollywood, presented by Karan Johar and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni and directed by SS Rajamouli had collected Rs 38.52 crore on the first day of its release which is a national record. The entire film industry’s ecstasy about the film has been quite huge and the audiences accepted that it is not just the hype created by anyone and really, the film has the strength to give a massive mandate.

The figures spoke that the film not only has the content, graphics but also has an equal amount of emotions and drama. The film analysts and trade pundits besides the ‘who is who’ in the Bollywood remained shell-shocked with the way the movie galloping across the country. It may be recalled here that Rajamouli had invited the top stars and famous personalities of the Bollywood film industry to watch Bahubali-2 but they refused to attend the preview and instead told him that they would watch in regular theatres only. Such was the honour they gave to a director and this proves how great regard they give to one of the best technicians.
