President’s visit : Traffic regulation in city tomorrow
Hyderabad, April.24 : The City Police today notified regulation of traffic in connection with the program of the President of India on April 26. The following traffic restrictions/diversions will be made.
According to the notification issued here today, the traffic will either be stopped or diverted at the following places/routes. Begumpet Hyderabad airport to Osmania University from 1200 hrs to 1245 hrs.
Begumpet airport – law and order police station Begumpet – Rasoolpura junction – P.G.college - CTO flyover – Plaza – YMCA flyover – St.John’s rotary – Sangeeth crossroads – Naidu motors lane – Bharath petrol pump – RRC grounds lane – Alugadda Bavi junction – SNT work shop – Mettuguda junction – Railway degree college - Tarnaka crossroads – RTC hospital – Osmania university.
Osmania University to Rajbhavan from 1315 hrs to 1400 hrs:
Osmania University – RTC hospital – Tarnaka crossroads – Railway degree college – Mettuguda junction – SNT work shop – Alugaddabavi junction –RRC ground lane – Bharath Petol pump – Naidu motors lane – Sangeeth crossroads – St.John’s Rotary – North Zone DCP office – YMCA flyover – Plaza – CTO flyover – Rasoolpura jn – P&T flyvoer – Shayamlal building – HPS – Begumpet flyover – Greenlands crossroads – Monappa Island (Rajiv Gandhi statue) - Jaya gardens – Yashodha hospital – MMTS – Rajbhavan railway gate – Rajbhavan – V.V.statue.

Gachibowli to Begumpet airport from 1715 hrs to 1800 hrs:
Gachi bowli – narayanamma college – shaikpet nala – galaxy theater – tolichowki flyover – nanal nagar – rethi bowli – mehdipatnam – s.d.eye hospital – nmdc – masabtank – khaja mansion – road no. 1/12 – road no. 1/ 10 junction – hotel taj krishna junction – road no. 1/7 junction – road no. ¼ junction – nagarjuna circle (nfcl) – panjagutta flyover – cm camp office – begumpet flyover – hps – shyamlal - pnt junction – begumpet airport – rasoolpura.
Traffic diversion points
Traffic coming from adikmet flyover, arts college intending to proceed to tarnaka will be diverted at seetaphalmandi t jn towards seetaphalmandi flyover. Traffic coming from habsiguda intending to proceed tarnaka will be stopped at rajayabhilekha near st. no. 1 tanaka at the time of VVIP’s arrival. Traffic coming from Lalapet will be stopped near David Memorial School at the time of VVIP’s arrival.
RTC buses diversion: At NCC gate, car pass holder vehicles will be allowed inside OU campus and other general vehicles will be diverted towards DD colony or Vidyanagar. Need based diversion will be made at Ramnagar ‘T’ junction and Vidyanagar ‘T’ junction.(D.D.hospital). RTC buss of route no.3 which will come from Tarnaka will be diverted towards Street no.8 Habsiguda – Ramanthapur – Amberpet no. 6 junction – Nimboliadda – Kachiguda. In return for RTC route no. 3 buses which come from Afzalgunj or Koti towards ECIL will be directed towards Chaderghat, Nimboliadda, no.6 junction Amberpet, Ramanthapur, Habsiguda street no.8 to reach ECIL.
RTC buses route no. 107 which comes from Dilsuknagar towards Secunderabad will be diverted at Vidyanagar – Hindi Mahavidyalaya – RTC crossroads – Musheerabad to reach Secunderabad vice versa.
