Pragya to join Vishnu for ‘Achari America Yatra’
Pragya Jaiswal, who played the female lead in award winning film ‘Kanche’, later shared the screen with Manchu Manoj in ‘Gunturodu’. She had recently appeared in ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ also. Very recently she was roped in for a film titled ‘Achari America Yatra’ directed by G Nageswara Reddy with Manchu Vishnu playing the lead role. The film makers are yet to take the film to the sets, though the first look of the film was released with Vishnu and Brahmanandam in Brahmin attires. It may be recalled that the Manchu family drew flak from the Brahmin community for a film ‘Denikaina Ready’. Manchu family also apologised to the Brahmins.
Surprisingly, once again Vishnu is playing the Brahmin character once again. According to the Film Nagar sources, ‘Pragya’s role will be a traditional one and the makers feel that Pragya would perfectly suits the performance-oriented character.’ Moreover, the character would also be on par with the hero’s role. If sources are to be believed, Pragya is most likely to join the sets of ‘AAY’ in the first week of May. At present Pragya is busy with two other movies. Of them, one is Boyapati Srinivas-Bellamkonda Srinivas combo and another will be ‘Nakshatram’. Once Pragya completes the projects on hand, she will join the ‘AAY’ sets. As per the film unit, the shooting will be in Hyderabad alone.
