Manjula to direct Sundeep Kishan!

Though the girl children of Bollywood and Kollywood film personalities entered the film industry as heroines, only few girl children of the Tollywood entered the film industry as heroines. Of course, Manjula, daughter of Super Star Krishna and Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, daughter of Manchu Mohanbabu are the exception to this theory. Manjula had made her screen presence in the film ‘Show’ directed by Nilakanta which had won the national award for best screenplay. After that she played in a couple of films such as ‘Orange’ and ‘Kavya’s Diary’.

However, she remained behind the screen and produced some films including few films with her brother Maheshbabu as hero. Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna too played the lead roles in some of the films and also produced some films. Moreover, she is active in hosting the television shows. The latest news is that Manjula, who had produced films so far, is now planning to wield the megaphone in the Telugu film industry.

According to grapevine, the Super Star’s daughter is planning to direct her debut film with the upcoming hero Sundeep Kishan. All arrangements are being made for the film and the pre-production works have also begun it is learnt. However, Sundeep Kishan is presently busy with a bilingual film ‘Maayavan’ in Tamil and Mayavanam in Telugu, besides Nakshatram with Sai Dharam Teja sharing screen with him and can be considered a multi-starter. So it is not yet clear, when the film in the direction of Manjula with Sundeep Kishan as hero would hit the floors. An official announcement is expected soon.
