Singapore's development changed common man's life: Naidu

Singapore, Nov 14: On the third and last day of tour, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said Singapore's development had changed the life of a common man. He was speaking as a special guest at the annual South Asian Conference and delivered his keynote address in the meeting. In this connection, Chandrababu Naidu said India was developing today only because of former prime minister of India late PV Narasinha Rao, who had opened up the Indian economy 25 years ago as part of his financial reforms. Stating that today India was again having a stable central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chandrababu said the country was again walking on the development path. Naidu then went on to say that he was in Singapore only to attract investments into Andhra Pradesh and to study the development of Singapore as he needed to develop a new capital city. Earlier, Chandrababu visited the Institute of South Asian Studies and met the institute's chairmen Gopinath Pillai and discussed with him on the issue of reforms in AP's educational sector.
