Dependent jobs in Telangana's SCCL: INTUC chief to launch stir from April 15

Hyderabad, March.31: Questioning the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to tell as to why he failed to initiate steps to see that the judicial problems not to be raised, INTU Chief Sanjeeva Reddy said that the former know very well that the Court would dismiss the dependent jobs issue.

Sanjeeva Reddy revealed that they will launch strike from April 15 onwards on dependent jobs issue. He also informed that already they served notice to the Singareni Collieries in this regard.

 Speaking to the media here on Friday, Sanjeeva Reddy alleged that the Nizam Sugars, Sirpur Kagaz Nagar Mills were closed after KCR becoming the Chief Minister of the state. The Chief Minister stated before the elections that there should not be contract workers system in state, Sanjeeva Reddy reminded.

On the other hand, the TPCC appointed a Committee under former MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy and the members were TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, AICC representative RC Kuntia, former Ministers Shabbir Ali, D Sridhar Babu to look after the workers problems.

Speaking on the occasion, the Congress leaders demanded the Chief Minister KCR to fulfil the assurance made before the elections.  They said that they will organize meetings in 24 constituencies where Singareni workers live and explain them that about the dishonesty done by the Chief Minister to them. They said that it was painful that the Chief Minister misled the people amidst Assembly saying that they were no contract workers in the Singareni Collieries but there about 25,000 contract workers were there. they alleged that the Chief Minister was deceiving the NREGS workers in the State.
