Swathi to play heroine in a remake

Actress Swathi aka Colours Swathi of Tollywood was away from the Telugu film industry for some time after playing the female lead in Tripura. She did some Tamil films as she became busy in the Kollywood. After a long gap, Swathi returned to the Tollywood. She had signed the dotted line for a Tamil remake with an interesting storyline.

The Tamil film ‘Aandavan Kattalai’ with Vijay Sethupati and Rithika Singh in the lead roles is all set for remake in Telugu by Chinni Krishna of ‘Brother of Bommali’-fame. There are many compliments for the movie in Tamil and Swathi had also watched the movie and agreed to replace Rithika’s character in the Telugu version. It is learnt that the film is a good satirical drama and Swathi is happy to play the female lead in that movie. The highlight of the film is the narration of the story which was made in an impressive manner in Tamil. A new-comer Rakshak is playing the hero of the movie.
