Book sand online, get sand delivered to home: AP CMO

Hyderabad, Nov 10: Big relief for people constructing homes. People in Andhra Pradesh can now just book their requirement of sand on www.sandbyshg.ap.gov.in and the sand will be delivered to their doorstep, announced the Chief Minister's office in a statement on Monday. The domestic and commercial customers henceforth need not go in search of sand vendors. The CMO, in its statement, said so far the government has sold 1.55 lakh cubic meters of sand through DWCRA groups. Another 3.27 lakh cubic meters sand is readily available for sale, the CMO statement said. The CMO also said that customers can also check out the fan page on the above website for information on any suggestions and directions. Customers can also call 2020-121-1800 for making any complaints, the CMO said in the statement.
