Pre-release function of ‘Katamarayudu’ on March 18

Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hassan are pairing up for a film titled ‘Katamarayudu’ directed by Kishore Kumar Parthasani @ Dolly. It is well aware that the film is the official remake of a successful Tamil movie ‘Veeram’ featuring Ajith and Tamannah. It may be mentioned here that the combination of Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hassan was a super hit and she has been termed as the golden leg from that movie onwards.

Sharing her experience with the media, Shruti claims that she was so excited to be part of the film and pairing up with Pawan Kalyan once again. She terms Pawan Kalyan as his favourite and lucky hero. Stating that the film might be the remake of ‘Veeram’, but the director made several changes to the subject by taking only the basic plot from the original. She revealed that the director and Power Star discussed a lot on the subject and made suitable changes to suit the nativity.

It may be recalled here that the shooting of the film ‘Katamarayudu’ is almost complete and the post-production work would also be wrapped up by the second week of March. If everything goes well on the expected lines, the first copy would be ready by March 15. Producer Sharrat Marar reportedly told the distributors and exhibitors to make arrangements and get ready for the release of the film by March 24. It may be mentioned here that a pre-release event was planned on March 18.
