Death of Prof Sarcar in Accident: Guv Expresses Shock
Hyderabad, Feb.22 : Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan expressed shock and profound sadness on the sudden passing away of Prof. M.M.M. Sarcar, Vice Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, in a road accident at Pamidi in Anantapur district, today.
As Vice Chancellor of JNTU Anantapur, he provided great leadership and contributed for the growth of the University. He was dearly loved by the students and faculty members of the University. In his passing away, the state of Andhra Pradesh has lost an eminent scholar and educator. His memory will be cherished for the immense contribution he had made over the years and mentoring of students, the Governor said and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the family and prayed to the Almighty to give his family the strength and courage to bear with this irreparable loss.
