Minister Talasani lays foundation for Multi-Sports Complex

Hyderabad, Feb 6 : Long-time dream of people of Sanathnagar constituency for a Multi-Sports Complex will soon become true, Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav has said.

He laid a foundation for the sports complex to be built at the cost of Rs 5 crore. He also laid the foundation for Rs 25 lakh worth community hall at Subhashnagar in his constituency.  Along with Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao and Nayini Narasimha Reddy, Talasani laid the foundation stone. The minister allotted Rs 15 lakh from his constituency development funds and GHMC sanctioned Rs 10 lakh for the community hall.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said several sportsmen have been seeking for the sports complex to encourage sports and games in the constituency. Srinivas Yadav stated that he wrote a letter to Labour and Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy for the land pertaining to Labour department for the purpose.  Officials made a visit to the land and the Labour Ministry has taken necessary steps, he added.
