YSRCP MPs walk out of LS
New Delhi, Feb.1 : The YSR Congress Party MPs staged a walkout from Lok Sabha on Wednesday in protest against the Centre ignoring their demand for special category State status to Andhra Pradesh and the demand for special railway zone to Visakhapatnam.
The YSRCP MPs, led by Parliamentary Party leader Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, expressed their dissent over the Union Budget completely ignoring the interests of Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to mediapersons outside Parliament later, Vijaysai Reddy said the Centre has totally ignored the aspirations of the Telugus. He said waiving of capital gains tax on AP capital area farmers will not benefit them in any way.
