KCR Keen on Better Healthcare in Govt Hospitals: Talasani
Hyderabad, Jan.23: Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav today said that government hospitals would provide better health services than private hospitals, by taking necessary measures to equip them fully. He participated in developmental programs worth Rs 17 lakhs at GandhiHospital in his constituency here.
Srinivas Yadav formally launched 20 computers, six projectors, water purifying machines at Girls hostel and Medical College. Later he made surprise inspection of children ward, ICU ward and inquired about health services being offered to the patients. As the attendants of the patients expressed satisfaction with the health services, the minister claimed that TRS Government is taking required steps to provide the better services. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is taking extra care to the government hospitals to provide unsurpassed health services to the people.
The minister said that during the previous regime, people used to be afraid to visit government hospitals due to lack of facilities. Now that the TRS took over the reins, the government hospitals are providing the best health services, he claimed. KCR is spending huge funds to furnish latest equipment, beds and needed medicines in the hospitals. There is no need for panic about swine flu as Gandhi Hospital has a special ward and special doctors to treat it, he added.
Local Corporation Hemalatha, Hospital Superintendent J Venkateshwar Reddy, Medical College Principal Manjula and children wing head of department Venkateshwar Rao were present on the occasion.
