Tax exemption for 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' in Telangana!

Nandamuri Balakrishna's Gautamiputra Satakarni is gearing up for release on January 12th. Now, a big news is putting smiles on the faces of distributors. It was known the makers applied for Tax exemption for the movie in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Already, Telangana Government responded positively and the film was exempted from Tax in the Telangana State. So Balakrishna is going to meet CM KCR to thank him for providing Tx Exemption for Gauatmiputra Satakarni. However, Tax exemption for the film in Andhra Pradesh still needs an official confirmation.

Gautamiputra Satakarni did a pre-release business close to Rs 40 crores at Ap/TG, So if the film gets Tax exemption in both states then it needs to collect Rs 32 crores only to reach the breakeven of Rs 40 for Distributors. Finally, let's wait and see how the movie is going to perform at the box office in a few more days.

Meanwhile, the makers have planned for Satavahana Pathakotsavam will be held on January 8th where Satavahana Flags will be hoisted in 100 Theaters.
