YS Jagan Seeks Governor's Intervention On 'Demonetisation'

Hyderabad: On Tuesday, Leader of Oppostion and YCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led a delegation of representatives from his party and met Governor E.S.L.Narasimhan at Rajbhavan.

YS Jagan urged Governor to intervene into the problems faced by State due to 'Demonetisation' by using his good offices with PM Modi and RBI.

Speaking to media YS Jagan told that farmers and daily wage earners have been facing severe hardships due to the currency ban and its cascading effects. Crop loans were not disbursed according to the schedule.

According to the reports RBI has issued Rs.5.5lakh new currency, as per the population ratio AP should get minimum of Rs.24,000cr but State has received just Rs.14,740cr, LOP analysed further.

YS Jagan slammed CM Chandrababu Naidu for ignoring the people's problems and focusing on 'Heritage' shares sale.

He expected that the problems would remain till coming June. "We would observe the situation till January 7th and chalk out the future strategy after that" he added.
