Ex Mla Vellampalli Joins YSRCP

Hyderabad : Former MLA form Vijayawada (West) Vellampalli Srinivas joined YSR Congress Party today. In 2009 elections, he had contested on PRP (Praja Rajyam Party) ticket and become MLA. In 2014 general elections he tried to contest on YCP ticket but couldn't materialised. Due to this he contested on BJP ticket. Jaleel khan won this segment on YCP ticket and later defected into TDP.

While welcoming Vellampally into YSRCP, YS Jagan said "anti people policies of TDP government pushing the people into troubles. It will ruin itself with such measures. Joining of leaders like Vellampally shows that YCP is the political future of Andhra Pradesh."

YS Jagan assured that all those who join the YCP will be given their due respect, dignity and position.

Vellampally thanked party chief and said that YCP is the future hope of AP as ruling BJP at Centre and TDP at state failed miserable in fulfilling the people's aspirations.

Senior Congress leader and former MLC Kandula Durgesh along with his followers joined YSRCP on Monday. He also told that YSRCP and YS Jagan were the only future for AP, which has been struggling under TDP regime.
