Despite Of Vardah, To Go Ahead For Chennai Test

'Vardah' Cyclone making landfall in Andhra Pradesh coast and Tamil Nadu regions. As of now the fifth test between India and England which is scheduled on 16 December in Chennai is set go ahead.

Rajeev Shukla, IPL chairman told that “Fifth and final Test will take place in Chennai. No changes as of now, Sports Authority of Tamil Nadu is keen on hosting the match.”

In the five match series, India has unassailable lead of 3-0 after thrashing the England team by a massive Innings and 36 runs victory in the fourth Test today. Very recently, final ODI between India and New Zealand has come under threat due to cyclone but rain favoured India by staying away to give the host a chance to win the match.

Due to Cyclone Vardah State has been under high alert for the past ten days. Weather prediction  on December 16, suggests that massive rainfall may lash the capital city of Tamil Nadu.
