Venkaiah Naidu visited Apollo Hospital

Chennai: Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu visited Apollo Hospital today evening to enquire about the Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa's health. It is heard that he has enquired the doctors about the on going treatment and current situation. As the rumours are spreading virally all expected that he may speak to media over the health condition of Tamil Nadu CM but he left the hospital without brefing the media. Soon after local TV channels said Jayalalithaa was dead, Apollo Hospital responded that all those rumours were 'false and baseless'. In a statement S Vishwanathan, COO, Apollo Hospitals said “Some TV channels are wrongly reporting that honourable chief minister is no more. This is totally baseless and false. They are advised to rectify this mistake, based on this press release.”
