Met Department forecasts heavy rain and Cyclone in Tamil Nadu
Chennai: Met department forecasts that a cyclone building up in Bay of Bengal may cross the Tamil Nadu's coast on Friday, December 2. State capital Chennai is expected to have a moderate to heavy rainfall. Fishermen were advised not to make venture into the sea coasts from Wednesday evening onwards. Similarly those who are at sea have instructed to return to the coast immediately. Met department said " Condition of the Sea would be rough to very rough. Winds speed gearing up to 65kmph along and off the Puducherry and Tamil Nadu coasts from 1st December."
