Cigars and the beard
November 26: Many remember the revolutionary icon Fidel Castro for his unique beard and cigar. This Cuban El Comandante (Commander-in-Chief) always love his beard. He once said " I don’t like to waste my time shaving. This would take at least 15 min every day. This way, I can comfortably save a few days a year for the most important matters " Castro was very much fond of Havan cigars, taking cue from it his enemies once made an attempt to poison him through the cigars. Due to escalating health problems in 1986 he give up smoking habit. Castro said “The best thing one can do with a box of cigars is give them to the enemy".
