Demonetisation is a revolutionary step : Anna Hazare

PM Modi's decision on currency ban got an unexpected support. Anti corruption crusader, social activist Anna Hazare termed the decision as "bold and revolutionary". Anna opined that this move would curb corruption, black money and terrorism funding. In view of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's fierce attacks on the ban decision, it is expected that Anna's support would boost Govt's morale. "Previous governments never showed the iron will to crackdown on black money and corruption. The present government has taken a revolutionary step and this will surely strengthen the democracy," Anna said. At the same time this Gandhian social activist cautioned cautioned that adequate safeguards need to be taken in order to cease the re appearance of black money demon.
