'Radiant Orchid'..Colour shade of new Rs.2000 note
After currency demonetization RBI released new Rs.2000 note which occupied centre stage of curiosity. Few tested its water proof, colour leak qualities also. On the other hand discussions tabled on the colour shade of new denomination. Many concluded that it is pink. But when keenly observe the colour shade closely resembles 'Radiant Orchid', which was declared as Pantone Colour of 2014. Pantone, is a United States based company which provides colour systems which is leading in technology for accurate and vivid communication of colour. Every year as a tradition Pantone releases the colours for the year. Fashion and interior designing industries add the declared colour palette in their shade card.
