Denmark @ World's Happiest Country

According to the latest study on world happiness levels, Denmark stood at no.1 in the list of 156 countries. Independent experts ranked the countries based on various factors which include healthy years of life expectancy, per capita gross domestic product, trust and perceived freedom to make life choices. Switzerland occupied second place. Countries like Australia, Canada and and New Zealand fixed their berths in the top 10 This report gives a message that mere wealth won't give happiness. Many rich countries noticeably pushed further down in the chart. United States at 13, Germany at 16, UK at 23 acknowledge the above message. The report says “When countries single mindedly focus on individual objectives, such as economic expansion to the cost of neglecting social and environmental objectives, the obtained results can be very much adverse for human well-being as well as dangerous for survival.” So, counties must focus on deteriorating 'Social Trust', 'Social Fabric', 'Faith in Govt' in order to bring happiness in the society.
