New Rs.500 notes hit the market
A sigh of relief to public! From the past three days, people have been suffering from Inactive and not stocked ATMs coupled with very long queues. Though Govt. announced the issue of new Rs.2000 and Rs.500 currency notes, only Rs.2000 notes pumped into the market. It is heard that delay in printing, as well as logistics, halted the supply of new Rs.500 notes. Now those are also hitting the market. From Sunday evening few banks issuing the new Rs.500 notes. It is expected that from tomorrow onwards all banks may issue both Rs.500 & Rs.2000 notes judiciously to balance the logistics.
