Prof. Kodandaram to stage dharna tomorrow
Hyderabad, Oct.22: In the wake of the continuing crises in the agriculture sector in the State due to dry spell in August and floods in September this year dealing a huge blow to the farming community, the steering committee of Telangana Rythu JAC is organizing a mammoth dharna at Indira Park on Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm. For the first time after formation of Telangana State, Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram will participate in the dharna along with hundreds of farmers from various districts. Former legislators, women and intelligentsia like professors of universities, doctors, lawyers and students are expected to join the dharna to express sympathy and solidarity with the distressed farmers in the State. A spokesperson of the Telangana Rythu JAC appealed to the people to join the agitation and help make it a grand success.
