Europe Traffic System for AP town

In a move to turn Eluru as smart city, the officials are making the moves. As a baby step they concentrated on changing existing Traffic system. To change the traffic system, world renowned company Siemens roped in. Officials from Siemens, Europe visited the city and conducted preliminary study on the traffic controlling system. The consortium members comprising Intelligent Traffic System expert Andria Ghio (Germany), D Ghere, S Bhattacharya, DN Vaidya visited the Municipal Corporation office. They had meeting with Municipal Commissioner Yarra Saye Srikanth, Traffic DSP K Srinivasa Rao and other officials. They made a power point presentation on the Traffic Control System followed in Europe using modern technology. They said that those methods can be implemented here in Eluru to control the moving of city vehicles in a more organised manner. The officials also expressed interested in proposal.
