Ponnam to stage Dharna at CM’s residence

Karimnagar, Oct.13: Alleging that the TRS government failed to fulfill the assurances made during the last elections except implementation of ‘Asara’ pensions, former MP Ponnam Prabhakar has warned Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that the Congress will stage a dharna in front of the Chief Minister’s residence and at Ministers Quarters. Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Ponnam alleged that the Chief Minister didn’t fulfill the assurance of establishment of Medical College at Karimnagar district. He asked the Chief Minister to tell as to why he didn’t invite the Opposition parties and peoples’ organizations for the inauguration of new districts.
