Congress plans ‘Chalo Khammam Collectorate’ tomorrow on farmers’ problems

Hyderabad, Oct.13: Alleging that the officials concerned have failed to follow the protocol at the meeting held on the occasion of creation of Kalluru Division, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has informed that the Congress party will organize ‘Chalo Collectorate’ on October 15 at Khammam on farmers’ problems. Speaking to the media at Assembly media hall here on Thursday, Sudhakar Reddy alleged that the officials misused their power by inviting a person who does not come under protocol on to the dais. Demanding that the Khammam district officials explain on the issue, the MLC said they would lodge a complaint with the Chief Secretary on protocol violation. Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy demanded that the government extend help to the farmers affected with spurious seed and waive off loan at one go. Demanding that the government release a white paper on funds spend under every head, he asked the government asked why it was hiding facts while stating that the governance was a transparent. “The government was showing discrimination in releasing payments to the contractors”, he alleged. He also said the TRS would get only seven to eight seats in 2019 elections if it fails to spend money as it was spent in Paler elections. He made it clear that the Congress will wage continuous movement on behalf of farmers and people.
