Pelli Choopulu Bollywood Remake Rights Sold

Pelli Choopulu released in late July created a sensation at the box office. The film starred Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Varma in lead roles. It raked about 20 times of expenses in USA. It celebrated 50days in 10centres in USA. Raj Kandukuri and Yash produced the film. The producers of the film sold the rights of the film to producer D Suresh Babu. Suresh Babu agreed to pay a hefty amount of Rs.1.75 Crores to producers before the release of the film. The film earned more than double profits for him. After seeing the sensation created by the film at Telugu land, there is a lot of competition erupted for remake rights of the film from other industries especially from Bollywood. Finally, Noted Bollywood maker Vashu Bhagani has bought the remake rights of the movie for a fancy price. Earlier, several Bollywood producers were in the race, but luck turned towards Vashu Bhagani.
