BSNL to associate with AP govt. for implementing Fiber Grid Project

AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu inaugurated AP Postal circle. Union Minister urban development minister M Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated AP Telecom circle. Union minister of state for communications Manoj Sinha, minister of state for science and technology Y S Chowdary, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas, BJP state president and MP K Haribababu, BSNL CMD Anupam Srivatsav have attended the event. Speaking on this occasion, Chandra Babu wished the postal department all the success ahead. He told that AP government is planning to associate with BSNL for implementation of fiber grid project. In the fiber grid project, the government will provide internet services along with telephone and cable television connections. Venkaiah Naidu appealed to BSNL workers to work hard to compete with private players. “By this year, the Postal department completes 250years of services in India. Earlier people thought that Postal department will be closed, but it made a turnaround by offering multiple services” Venkaiah said. Manoj Sinha assured the AP government to implement the promises made in the AP Reorgainsation Act. “Postal department played crucial rule in implementing Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme in the country. He expressed happiness over AP telecom for making profits. “I hope the Telecom sector will play crucial role in implementing Digital India program” Manoj Sinha Said.
