Chandrababu Naidu vows to make Amaravati world-class city
Hyderabad/ Vijayawada, Oct.9: Construction and development of a world-class capital city like Amaravati are crucial and mandatory to usher in economic growth and prosperity, to create employment opportunities in large numbers and achieve progress in all spheres of socio-economic sections of society, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has stated. On the auspicious occasion of Dasara festival, while wishing the people Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has written an open letter, outlining his top most priorities for the development of the State and welfare of the people. The salient points of the open letter to the Chief Minister were released by Ajay Jain, Principal Secretary, Energy, I&I and CRDA. “With the blessings of Mother Goddess Kanaka Durgamma and Krishnamma (River Krishna), I am confident of giving a definite shape to a world-class capital city Amaravati by Vijaya Dasami next year. From the bottom of my heart, I thank the farmers they gave their precious lands to make the dream true of developing Amaravati as a world-class capital city. With the confidence bestowed upon me by all the people and farmers in the State, let us move forward to build a beautiful capital city on the banks of river Krishna with lush green gardens, world-class educational institutions”, the Chief Minister stated. Naidu also stated, “We are recuperating from the irrational bifurcation of the combined State of Andhra Pradesh and making rapid strides towards progress, growth, and development. I am envisioning a great future to this State through an inclusive growth strategy in a planned development model. This Government is committed to developing Amaravati as one of the best cities, with certainly a place form it among top five best cities in the World. The city is going to be an environment-friendly Green City”.
