Babu allots Rs. 10 Cr for police welfare
Vijayawada, Oct 21, 2014: Appreciating police for their tireless services to the society in tackling crime, maintaining law and order and carrying out investigation, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has announced a corpus fund of Rs. 10 Cr for the welfare of police personnel in the state. Addressing the police personnel after taking a salute from them on the eve of Police Commemoration Day at Vijayawada on Tuesday, Naidu said he would take steps to make the AP Police best in the country."We will use latest technologies available," he said. Director General of Police J.V. Ramudu, Police Commissioner A.B. Venkateswara Rao, Eluru Range DIG S. Hari Kumar and other senior police officers were also present on the occasion.
