Why jump into the well of the House? asks Jaitley

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that jumping into the well of the House was not reflective of power of the opposition. "Powers of both the Houses cannot be redefined merely by jumping into the well. As far as bills are concerned, whether it's private or Government, there are certain constraints in the Constitution. "If the members want discussion on Andhra and what we have to do for the State, we are open for discussion. The Government will respond," he added. Distraught people in this part of the country jump into the well when there is no way out of a situation. As their representatives, their leaders also jump into the well of the House. Luckily, there are only few wells left in the Andhra country. So it is for their leaders to jump into the well when they make promises and don't keep them.
